Esta noche, a las 21:30, Las raíces de la viña se representará por última vez. Ha sido un viaje extraordinario que nunca olvidaré, y por ello quiero expresar mi más profundo agradecimiento a David Aracil por confiar en mí para escribir esta obra.
Gracias a este proyecto, he podido sumergirme aún más en las raíces de nuestro pueblo, en su historia y en sus gentes. Cada representación, cerca de una quincena en total, ha llenado el aforo, lo que demuestra algo muy claro: tenemos ganas de recordar, de rendir homenaje a los nuestros y de honrar nuestra historia.
Esta obra ha sido un homenaje a tantas historias que forman parte de la memoria de Sant Joan:
- La historia de Mallol y Vizcaíno, de las cigarreras, del tranvía de la huerta.
- Las casas y familias que lo perdieron todo.
- Los que cogieron un barco y los que decidieron quedarse.
- Las vecinas y vecinos que ayudaron, las injusticias de la guerra, y la paz nacida entre conversaciones.
Quiero agradecer a quienes lo han hecho posible:
- Las actrices y actores que han cedido su cuerpo y alma para dar vida a estos personajes.
- Los técnicos, siempre atentos al detalle.
- Los conserjes que cuidan y miman cada espacio.
- Los políticos que han recuperado lugares como el refugio, lleno de historia.
- Mónica, con su sonrisa constante, y Alfredo, por su mirada atenta al texto.
También quiero dar las gracias a todas las personas que han venido a ver la obra, pero, sobre todo, a quienes se han acercado a contarnos nuevas historias: esas que todavía esperan ser narradas y que, con suerte, algún día volverán a cobrar vida.
Hoy cerramos este capítulo, pero lo hacemos con el corazón lleno y con la certeza de que este viaje ha sido mucho más que teatro: ha sido memoria, comunidad y gratitud.
